About Afghan Family Guidance Association |AFGA:

The Afghan Family Guidance Association (AFGA) is a non-governmental, non-profit and apolitical Afghan organization founded in 1968. The AFGA has been active in the field of reproductive health and rights since its inception and has recently become an associate member of the International Federation for Family Planning (IPPF).

AFGA was suspended due to war and conflict in the country for ten years (1992-2002) and resumed its activities in 2002 with the financial support of the International Federation for Family Planning (IPPF).

The IPPF is an alliance of 151 family planning associations known as member associations that have projects in more than 180 countries. IPPF remains the world’s largest provider of reproductive health information and services.

Job Description:

Guard / Safakar performs his duties under the direct supervision and guidance of the relevant director and is responsible for performing the above-mentioned duties.

Bill duties:


Cleaning the corridors and all branches of the office (tables, chairs, cabinets, washing office glass, emptying the trash, etc.) on time and time

Cleaning the toilets and monitoring their cleanliness at least three times a day

Cooperation in the preparation and distribution of water, food and tea for employees

Take care of empty or full water tank (storage)

Performing the tasks assigned by the relevant director

Perform other necessary tasks related to the project which are assigned by the relevant director

Guarding, maintaining and caring:

Protect all objects, property and goods in the office

Ensure that corrections and other prohibited items do not enter the office

Checking and controlling offices and ensuring that gas, heaters, lights and other electrical appliances are turned off during the holidays and after formalities

Ensure that offices are locked after official business hours to prevent them from disappearing

Turn the generator and water pump on and off when necessary

Snow removal in winter

Provide cooperation with the driver when unloading or loading equipment in the vehicle

Control, open and close office gates on clients

Perform other necessary tasks related to the project which are assigned by the relevant director

Job Requirements:

Dominance and dominance of local languages

Have at least basic education (reading and writing)

Has 2 years of similar work experience in official offices

Having consistent physical and mental health

Full familiarity with performing the above tasks

Be ready to accept instructions from the relevant director

Be aware and alert while performing the task
